The Makita DLX2412TJ twin kit features two heavy duty and compact tools – DHP486 Combi Drill & DTD172 Impact Driver. The Makita DHP486 18V LXT Brushless Hammer Driver Drill provides 130Nm of maximum fastening torque and no load speed of 2,100rpm combining rapid drilling speeds with high levels of torque. This model is based on the DHP481, but has been redesigned with a newly designed motor and gear ratio achieving not only more power but also increasing the performance in continuous heavy-duty applications. The DTD172 is a brushless impact driver powered by an 18v LXT Li-Ion battery. Key features include a LED job light with pre-glow & after glow function, and a new one-touch bit installation.
